"Demon Slayer: Hashira Training Arc" covers episodes from volumes 15 to 16 of the original manga, where Tanjiro and his companions undergo training with the highest-ranking swordsmen of the Demon Slayer Corps, the Hashira, to become even stronger.

"Demon Slayer" is based on the manga of the same name, serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" from February 2016 to May 2020, with the comics exceeding 150 million copies in circulation. Set in the Taisho era, where man-eating demons exist, the story follows a boy named Tanjiro Kamado, who joins the Demon Slayer Corps to avenge his family killed by demons and to turn his sister Nezuko, who became a demon, back into a human.

The first season of the TV anime aired from April to September 2019, becoming a social phenomenon. The movie "Demon Slayer: Mugen Train," which continues from the final episode of the anime, was released in October 2020, grossing over 40 billion yen domestically. The second season "Entertainment District Arc" aired from December 2021, followed by the third season "Swordsmith Village Arc" in April 2023.
