"That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime (Tensura)" was adapted into a TV anime in October 2018, and its popular second season aired from January to March and July to September 2021. The story follows Satoru Mikami, a salaryman who is killed by a random assailant and reincarnated in another world as a slime named Rimuru. Rimuru aims to create a nation where all races can live together in harmony. Using the skills he acquires, he gains allies through wisdom and bravery. The third season will air from April 5, 2024, every Friday at 23:00 on Nippon TV, with a two-cour continuous broadcast (the first episode will air at 23:30, and on BS11, it will air every Saturday at 22:00 starting April 6).
Synopsis
After defeating Clayman and officially becoming a Demon Lord, Rimuru's territory expands to encompass the entire Jura Forest following the Walpurgis Banquet of Demon Lords.
Given the influx of representatives from various races expected to visit and pay their respects, Rimuru decides to host a "Founding Festival" to introduce himself as Demon Lord and to attract new residents to Tempest.
Meanwhile, in the Holy Empire of Lubelius, the stronghold of the Luminas Church, which views monsters as enemies, Holy Knight Commander Hinata receives a message from Rimuru. However, it turns out to be a declaration of war that has been tampered with by an unknown party.
With reports that Hinata is heading to Tempest, Rimuru must make a critical decision.
Thus begins Rimuru's new challenge to discern true friends and foes and pursue his ideal of a "human-demon coexistence zone."
