Episode 6 Story

Kinme receives a request from the proprietress of a long-established inn to clean a traditional Japanese doll, and she is determined to restore it to its former beauty.

Stains on the kimono are carefully removed, the doll’s face is cleaned, and its hair is neatly arranged. Through Kinme’s meticulous work, the doll is transformed until it looks completely renewed.

As a token of gratitude, Kinme is invited to enjoy the inn’s large public bath. A lover of hot springs, she reflects that she will do her best again starting tomorrow.

Still, there is something that lingers in her mind.
