In Episode 5, Yoi finds herself unable to hide her confusion over the changes happening within her. In an effort to clear her mind of distracting thoughts, she decides to increase her shifts at her part-time job. Meanwhile, Kohaku struggles as well, reflecting on his feelings for Yoi and stumbling over how different this experience feels compared to the “casual relationships” he has had in the past. Unable to find an answer, a subtle distance begins to form between the two.

Amid this delicate atmosphere, a new coworker joins Yoi’s workplace. Takuto Oji, a boy the same age as Yoi, makes his appearance. After learning that Yoi is known as “the Prince,” Takuto honestly tells her that he initially thought she was a beautiful girl. With his sincere words, the gears of a love triangle quietly begin to turn.
