[Final] Gozyuger Episode 49 Story & Preview Released: Hoeru Finally Tells Tega Sword His True Wish

The latest Super Sentai series, No.1 Sentai Gozyuger (airs every Sunday at 9:30 AM on TV Asahi), will premiere its episode 49, "We Are, No.1 Sentai Gozyuger!" on February 8.

Episode 49 Story

After unexpectedly emerging as the No.1 contender in the ring battle, Hoeru Tono (played by Mio Fuyuno) finds himself confronted once again by Fire Candle (Daisuke Sanbongi). Fire Candle’s goal is clear: to bring their long-standing rivalry to a decisive end.

As the two clash in a ferocious, beast-like battle, Hoeru reflects on the days he spent alongside the Gozyuger team. What did Rikuo Byakuya (Hideharu Suzuki), Ryugi Bakugami (Masakazu Kanda), Kinjiro Takehara (Jin Matsumoto), Sumino Ichikawa (Maya Imamori), and Mashiro (Kaiki Kimura) mean to someone like him, who has lived his life as an outsider?

And beyond the fighting—what is it that Hoeru truly desires?
Having finally reached his answer, Hoeru at last declares his wish to Tega Sword (voiced by Yuki Kaji), bringing the story closer than ever to its emotional climax.
