In a tavern town, Frieren reunites with the dwarf Fass. A devoted lover of alcohol, Fass has spent over 200 years searching for the legendary Emperor’s Wine, Bosshaft. He believes the prized drink lies dormant at the end of a tunnel he once excavated himself. Will the long sought-after wine finally be discovered?
The journey then leads to the territory of the Norm Trading Company, where a shocking revelation comes to light: Frieren has been carrying a massive debt from 80 years ago.
Episode 33 offers a glimpse into the many encounters that have shaped Frieren’s long life. What secret is hidden behind the Emperor’s Wine Bosshaft, which Fass has pursued for centuries? Furthermore, a debt Frieren incurred during her travels with Himmel and the others long ago causes her to reveal an unexpected side of herself. Serialized in Weekly Shonen Sunday, Frieren Beyond Journey’s End is a “post-adventure fantasy” that depicts what happens after the hero’s party defeats the Demon King. The story follows Frieren, an elven mage, as she embarks on a new journey with new companions in a world after the hero’s death.
