Seeing Lize grow thinner by the day, Luna begins to suspect that her own cooking may be the cause. Determined to find out the truth, she asks an acquaintance to try her homemade pie.

However, the result is a wave of harsh criticism. Hoping to prepare a truly delicious meal for Lize, Luna decides to go out and buy fresh ingredients.

Yet few are willing to generously sell to the “Champignon Witch.” After much difficulty, Luna finally manages to obtain ingredients at several times the usual price.

When Lize learns how much trouble Luna has gone through for her sake, she reacts in an unexpected way.

Introduction

Deep within the black forest, in a quiet house of poisonous mushrooms, lived a lone witch named Luna. Wherever she touched or walked, poisonous mushrooms often grew, and the breath she exhaled and even her skin were tainted with poison.

The townspeople called her the “Champignon Witch.” Feared as a black witch, not a single person dared to approach her.

Even so, Luna heads to town again today to sell her medicine. Her remedies are hugely popular as miracle cures, and everyone who obtains them speaks words of gratitude in unison. Yet no one knows who actually makes the medicine.

Still, Luna continues to brew her medicines day after day.

Then one day, a dreamlike encounter comes to lonely Luna, who has never known the warmth of another person……
