Medalist Episode 18 Story & Preview Cuts Released: Tsukasa Is Deeply Inspired by Jun Yodaka’s Skating Before His Eyes

The story and preview images for Episode 18 of the TV anime Medalist (JP: メダリスト) have been revealed. This episode will air on Sunday, February 22 at 1:30 AM (JST), and will later be available on various international streaming platforms.

Episode 18 Story

Tsukasa Akeuraji unexpectedly runs into Jun Yodaka at the home of Shinichiro Sonidori. He is then invited to the skating rink as well, leaving him shaken by the sudden turn of events.

However, watching Yodaka skate right in front of him strongly inspires Tsukasa. Determined not to miss the opportunity, he desperately tries to learn by imitating Yodaka’s jumps.

Introduction

Bound together by their shared, powerful dreams of figure skating, Inori Yuitsuka and Tsukasa Akeuraji meet as “skater and coach.”

Aiming to become a glorious “medalist,” Inori builds up her achievements at the Meiko Cup and the West Japan Elementary and Junior High School Championships. After passing the badge tests, she finally earns the right to compete at the same level as the “genius girl,” Hikaru Okazaki.

Her next goal is the Chubu Block Tournament, where qualification for the All-Japan Championships is on the line. Surrounded by new rivals, Inori sets out to prove that she is the one who can shine the brightest of them all──!
