That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime The Movie unveils 12 brand new action scene cuts from Tears of the Azure Sea, which opens in theaters on February 27. Alongside the new visuals, the lineup of original theatrical merchandise has also been announced.

Powerful Action Scenes Unveiled

The newly released scene cuts highlight dynamic and intense action sequences. After the Founding Festival of the Jura Tempest Federation, Rimuru and his companions enjoy a brief respite on a resort island. However, upon meeting Yura, a shrine maiden of the Kingdom of Cayenne, they become entangled in a conspiracy swirling beneath the sea.

The visuals depict a dramatic shift from relaxed vacation mode to high tension battle scenes. Rimuru appears determined amid the unfolding crisis, while Gobta showcases an unusually sharp and serious expression during a fierce confrontation. Yura is also shown facing off with glowing eyes, adding further suspense.

Other newly revealed cuts include Minister Zodon, wearing an ominous expression as he heads to the surface under orders from Chancellor Djeese of the Kingdom of Cayenne. Djeese himself is seen preparing to launch an attack against an unknown target. The scenes convey an atmosphere far removed from the group’s earlier carefree vacation, emphasizing the escalating tension beneath the azure sea.

Original Theatrical Merchandise Announced

In addition to the new scene cuts, a total of 25 types of original theatrical goods have been revealed. The lineup includes a pamphlet and acrylic stands featuring Rimuru and the others in resort themed outfits.
