Marugame Seimen × Dragon Ball Z Dream Collaboration Launches Seven Exciting Campaigns with Special Decor at Shinjuku Gyoen Store

Sanuki udon specialty chain Marugame Seimen has announced the launch of the Marugame Seimen Dragon Ball Z Collaboration Campaign starting March 3. The limited time campaign celebrates one of Japan’s most beloved anime series with a range of exclusive initiatives.

Seven Special Projects Inspired by Dragon Ball Z

The campaign features seven surprise projects. During the promotional period, the Marugame Seimen brand logo will temporarily change to a special design that incorporates the Kame School emblem from Dragon Ball Z.

Among the highlights are collaboration menu items inspired by the world of the series. These include Dragon Ball Udo-nuts Chocolate Flavor priced at 590 yen including tax, a set of seven doughnut balls decorated with star shaped sugar candies for a playful touch. Also available is Senzu Style Tempura priced at 290 yen including tax, modeled after edamame tempura inspired by the legendary Senzu Beans. Another featured item is the Genki Dama Onigiri with Soft Boiled Egg priced at 420 yen including tax, a hearty rice ball inspired by Goku’s signature Spirit Bomb technique.

In addition, customers will receive one limited edition Udon Ticket per bowl of udon purchased. A total of 30 designs plus two secret designs will be released across the first and second waves, featuring popular characters and memorable scenes from Dragon Ball Z.

The campaign also includes special novelty items such as original stickers and food picks available with the purchase of select products. Customers can enter a receipt based lottery to win exclusive merchandise, and a social media photo contest will also be held.

Special POPUP Store in Shinjuku

The Marugame Seimen Shinjuku Gyoenmae store in Tokyo will operate as a specially decorated POPUP location from March 3 through March 29. Both the interior and exterior of the store will be fully themed around Dragon Ball Z, welcoming visitors with visuals of Son Goku and Shenron.

Marugame Seimen, celebrating its 25th anniversary, joins forces with Dragon Ball Z, a franchise loved worldwide for decades. This cross generational collaboration promises to deliver energy and excitement throughout the spring season.
