A Certain Scientific Railgun Manga to Conclude After 19 Years of Serialization
A Certain Scientific Railgun manga will officially conclude, bringing an end to its 19 year serialization. It has been announced that the final chapter of A Certain Scientific Railgun will be published in the May issue of Monthly Comic Dengeki Daioh, scheduled for release on March 27. The series first began serialization in 2007 and now closes a nearly two decade long chapter in its history.

A Beloved Spin Off of A Certain Magical Index
A Certain Scientific Railgun is a spin off manga centered on Mikoto Misaka, one of the heroines of the light novel series A Certain Magical Index. The story is set in Academy City, a place where the development of supernatural abilities known as espers is actively pursued. Within this unique environment, the series portrays the peaceful, ordinary, and slightly unusual daily lives of Mikoto Misaka and her friends.
The franchise has also enjoyed major success in anime form. The first television anime season aired from 2009 to 2010, followed by a second season in 2013 and a third season in 2020. Production of a fourth season has already been confirmed.
