Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End Episode 35 (S2 EP7) Story & Preview Cuts Released: Divine Revolte Finally Appears

The story and preview images for Episode 7 of Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End (JP: 葬送のフリーレン, Sousou no Frieren) Season 2, which marks Episode 35 overall, have been released. This episode will air 60 minutes later than usual on Saturday, March 7 at 12:00 AM JST, and will later be available on various international streaming platforms.

Episode 35 Story

According to the newly revealed synopsis, the demon who annihilated Genau’s village was the formidable foe known as Divine Revolte, a powerful enemy who wields swords freely with four arms, along with his subordinates.

Frieren, Fern, and Methode head into the forest to search for the demons, while Stark and Genau remain in the village until the bodies of the villagers can be taken into custody by the Norm Knights. As they go their separate ways, the ruthless demons begin to close in on each group.

In Episode 35, the battle against the powerful enemy Divine Revolte and his forces finally begins. Through Methode’s analysis, the presence of a four-sword style opponent comes to light, prompting the five of them to heighten their vigilance. They split into two groups: Frieren, Fern, and Methode continue their search for the demons, while Stark and Genau stay behind to protect the villagers’ bodies.

The newly released preview cuts depict the intense expressions of each character, as well as the appearance of Revolte and his demon subordinates. The long-awaited confrontation with Divine Revolte is finally set to unfold.

About Frieren

Serialized in Weekly Shonen Sunday, Frieren Beyond Journey’s End is a “post-adventure fantasy” that depicts what happens after the hero’s party defeats the Demon King. The story follows Frieren, an elven mage, as she embarks on a new journey with new companions in a world after the hero’s death.
