Episode 23 Story

Shion and Nurugai confront Zhu Jin, standing as his opponents. Although they manage to drive Zhu Jin into a corner after striking him hundreds of times, neither side possesses a decisive move capable of finishing the battle.

Determined to avenge Tenza’s unfulfilled will, Shion continues to swing his blade relentlessly. Witnessing his resolve to fight alone, Nurugai begins to react to the sight before her.

Introduction

In Season 2, the story follows Gabimaru’s group as they reach the stronghold of the Tensen in their pursuit of the fabled Elixir of Life. Under orders from the shogunate, they join forces with Shugen and other newly arrived Yamada Asaemon executioners. With the Tensen preparing for all-out confrontation, the long-awaited human versus Tensen conflict finally erupts.
