On June 18, Nintendo broadcasted the "Nintendo Direct 2024.6.18" on their YouTube channel, announcing the release of a new game in the 'Legend of Zelda' series. Titled Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom this latest installment is set to launch for the Nintendo Switch on September 26, 2024.

In this newest addition to the 'Legend of Zelda' series, Princess Zelda, not Link, is the protagonist. Set in Hyrule, where a mysterious rift has caused people, objects, and even Link to vanish, Zelda embarks on a quest to save her people.

With the aid of the fairy Tri and the Tri Rod, Zelda can borrow various objects from the world, such as tables, wooden crates, beds, water masses, and even monsters, and can summon them at will. Utilizing these borrowed items, she advances through her adventure.
