A New Death Game Set in a Mixed Reality World

Demons' Crest is set in a sealed world where the fully immersive VRMMO RPG “Actual Magic” merges with reality. The story follows Yuuma Ashihara, who was supposed to enjoy a test play session with his classmates. However, he becomes trapped alone in a dimly lit building, where a new death game begins to unfold.

Demons' Crest is packed with everything I love: death games, MMORPGs, enclosed spaces, virtual worlds, friendship and conflict, hope and despair, clashes of thought, and emotional confrontations.

It was not an easy task to bring all of these elements together into a single story, but after a long, long period of preparation, we have finally reached the moment of announcement.

This anime, created together with an incredible team of staff and cast, is sure to stir both excitement and tension in your hearts. I hope you will dive into Altea alongside Yuuma and Sawa, and stay with them until the very end of their survival.

Comment from Haruka Shiraishi as Yuuma Ashihara

I am Haruka Shiraishi, and I will be voicing Yuuma Ashihara. It is a great honor to be involved in a work by Reki Kawahara.

This story is about a death game that takes place within mixed reality. The characters are elementary school students who face one challenge after another.

Yuuma is a kind-hearted boy who values the people around him. He is very reliable in serious battle scenes, but I also find his occasional clumsiness quite charming.

Personally, this is my first time playing a male protagonist, so when I was told that I had been cast as Yuuma, I was both surprised and incredibly happy.

I will do my very best to bring Yuuma to life so that everyone can fully immerse themselves in this thrilling and suspenseful story. Thank you for your support.

Comment from Konomi Inagaki as Sawa Ashihara

I am Konomi Inagaki, and I will be voicing Sawa Ashihara. Congratulations on the anime adaptation of Demons' Crest.

At last, the long journey of Yuuma and the others is about to begin. I am truly happy and honored to play Sawa.

Sawa is Yuuma’s twin sister. She is dependable and somewhat sharp-tongued, but she deeply cares for her brother and can be a bit jealous. It also seems that she may have some kind of secret.

The world of this series is especially exciting for game lovers, and the story is very dense, with each classmate having their own narrative.

The anime will also include developments that differ from the original work, and even during recording, we find ourselves eager to know what happens next.

I hope you will support Yuuma and his friends as they struggle to survive in this unpredictable and tense situation. Please look forward to the broadcast.
