You and I Are Polar Opposites Season 2 Premieres July 5, New PV Released

The second season of the TV anime You and I Are Polar Opposites is set to premiere on July 5. The series will air every Sunday at 5:00 PM (JST) on 28 MBS and TBS network stations nationwide.

The newly released promotional video revisits the journey of Suzuki and Tani so far, compiling memorable scenes from Season 1 as they interact with their uniquely charming group of friends. The footage reflects on their story to date while building anticipation for the upcoming second season.

You and I Are Polar Opposites is a romantic comedy centered on Suzuki, an energetic girl who constantly worries about how others perceive her, and Tani, a quiet boy who clearly expresses his own opinions. The story portrays Suzuki’s unrequited feelings as she struggles to act naturally around him, often getting overly clingy in her attempts to connect.

The manga began serialization in May 2022 on the Shonen Jump+ app and concluded on November 25, 2024. The series has surpassed 1.8 million copies in circulation.
