Skeleton Knight in Another World Season 2 Reveals New PV and Visual, Featuring Toshihiko Seki, Kensho Ono, Hitomi Ueda, and Junichi Suwabe

The anime Skeleton Knight in Another World Season 2 has unveiled a new promotional video and key visual ahead of its July broadcast, along with additional cast and theme song details.

The series is based on the light novel of the same title published by Overlap Novels, written by Enki Hakari and illustrated by KeG. The series has surpassed 3.5 million copies in circulation, including digital editions.

The story follows Arc, a protagonist who falls asleep while playing an MMORPG and awakens in another world in the form of his in game character. His appearance is that of a skeletal knight, with armor on the outside and a skeleton within. Determined to avoid drawing attention and being mistaken for a monster, Arc sets out to quietly enjoy his new life. However, his kind nature leads him to intervene whenever he witnesses wrongdoing, resulting in a refreshing fantasy tale of justice in another world.

New PV Highlights and Additional Cast

The newly released PV teases the appearance of new enemies awaiting Arc and his companions on their journey. Among them is the Dragon Lord Wilierosphim, who stands before Arc at a mysterious spring that may hold the key to breaking his curse. The PV also introduces Sasuke, a beastfolk ninja like Chiyome, along with Tsubone and members of the Hilk religion, a group that discriminates against elves and beastfolk.

Ending Theme and Production Commentary

The ending theme for Season 2 has been confirmed as “Kiseki wa Okinai” performed by DIALOGUE＋. The song is featured in the new PV, allowing fans to hear it alongside newly revealed animation footage.

Following their work on the first season ending theme “Who Said We Are Foolish,” DIALOGUE＋ producer Tomoya Tabuchi of UNISON SQUARE GARDEN once again handled the lyrics and composition. He commented that the song was created to reflect the emotions of characters facing adversity and injustice while thinking of those important to them.

I appear as Wilierosphim, the Dragon Lord. Shortly after meeting Arc, we end up fighting due to unexpected circumstances, but I guide him to the location of the spring he seeks. Despite being a Dragon Lord, he is not arrogant and has a very kind heart. There are also some heartwarming moments, so please look forward to them.

■Kensho Ono as Sasuke
I am Kensho Ono, and I will be playing Sasuke in Skeleton Knight in Another World Season 2. I performed with care to portray someone who can be a figure of admiration and a beloved older brother to Chiyome. What exactly happened to Sasuke, whom Chiyome has been searching for? Following the first season ending theme, I am honored to once again be in charge of the ending theme. This time, I wanted to incorporate the relationship between Sasuke and Chiyome. Rather than a quiet build up toward battle, the song expresses the emotions of characters facing adversity while thinking of someone important to them. Even if miracles do not happen, they continue to live on. I hope listeners can feel that strong determination through the song.
