The story and preview images for Episode 16 of the TV anime Wistoria: Wand and Sword (JP: 杖と剣のウィストリア) have been revealed. This episode will air on Sunday, May 3, 2026, at 4:30 PM (JST) in Japan, and will later be available on various international streaming platforms. Notably, the beginning of the episode features a specially produced sequence written by the original creators.

Episode 16 Story

Guided by Finn, Will has finally awakened the power dwelling within him. Clad in a brilliant silver light, he carves through the monsters invading the Central Capital. His ultimate destination is the Notorious Monster, Divende. With sword in hand, Will stands alone against this creature known for wielding Mage Killer.

The students of the Magic Academy, who had previously looked down on Will as a talentless individual, find themselves deeply moved as they witness his courageous battle. Despite fighting valiantly with their cheers at his back, Will is pushed to the limit by Divende’s fierce onslaught, resulting in his sword being snapped clean in half.
