Fukuen revealed that Toga’s battle scene against Curious was especially challenging to perform.
“That scene was the hardest thing I’ve ever done in my entire career as a voice actress,” she said.
According to Fukuen, Himiko Toga is a character who does not want to openly express her feelings or emotional pain.

“I wanted viewers to understand that Toga chan is also a victim,” Fukuen explained. “Part of me wanted to portray her in a sympathetic way, but I also felt that Toga herself would reject being pitied. Once I started thinking that way, I honestly didn’t know what the right choice was.”
She spoke candidly about the emotional conflict she experienced while trying to balance Toga’s vulnerability with the character’s refusal to seek sympathy.
