Mushoku Tensei Season 3 Reveals New Visual Teasing the Story After the Eris Training Arc

Mushoku Tensei Season 3 has revealed a new key visual ahead of its July 6 broadcast in Japan at 12:00 a.m., teasing the story that will unfold after the Eris Training Arc and centering on the protagonist Rudeus.

New Key Visual Teases Rudeus’ Next Story

Season 3 is expected to begin with Volume 13 of the original light novel. For Rudeus, the new season will depict drama and adventure that shake him more intensely than ever before. It will also feature the Eris Training Arc, a storyline familiar to readers of the original novel and long awaited by anime fans.

The newly released key visual shows Rudeus with a more mature and dignified expression. Also featured are Sylphiette, his childhood friend whom he reunited with and married during Season 2’s Ranoa Magic University Arc, and Roxy, Rudeus’ magic teacher who supported him after he fell into despair over the loss of his father Paul and later became his second wife.

Behind them is Nanahoshi, a girl who was reincarnated from the same world as Rudeus, shown with her head lowered and her hands clasped as if in prayer.
The visual also features the Dragon King Perugius, who had only been faintly shown in Episode 8 of Season 1 and is voiced by Rikiya Koyama. In addition, a confident looking female character who appears to be a demon is also depicted, hinting at the grand world and dramatic developments that await Rudeus in Season 3.
