Go Shiina Shares His Joy After Winning Best Score
Shiina, who worked on the score for Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle Chapter 1: Akaza Returns together with Yuki Kajiura, spoke to the press after receiving the award.
“I’m incredibly happy,” he said with a bright smile.
Creating the Space of the Infinity Castle Through Music
Reflecting on the production process, Shiina said, “With overseas audiences in mind, we worked on creating spatial audio.”
He added, “To create the space of the Infinity Castle through music as well, we paid close attention to elements such as having the music move overhead.”
Message to International Fans
Speaking to fans overseas, Shiina said, “If you watch again from Tanjiro Kamado, Unwavering Resolve Arc, the work becomes even more rewarding to experience, so I would be happy if you watched Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba from the beginning.”
The Crunchyroll Anime Awards are organized by Crunchyroll, LLC, a United States based company that provides anime and manga to more than 200 countries and regions. The awards honor achievements in anime works, characters, and creators, with winners selected through votes from anime fans around the world.
