FUNKY MONKEY BΛBY'S commented:

“We are honored to be performing the theme song for the wonderful anime Grand Blue. Youth, friendship, and nakedness… We created this song with the feeling of going back to reclaim treasures we left behind in a summer long ago. ‘How many more times can we spend this season together with the time we have left?’ We hope the summer of 2026 will become a shining and beautiful memory for everyone.”

Stylish New Key Visual Revealed

A new key visual for the anime was also unveiled. The illustration features seven characters walking together on a southern island and presents a far more stylish atmosphere than previous Grand Blue visuals. Fans are already eager to see what kind of story will unfold in Palau during Season 3.

What Is Grand Blue About?

Grand Blue is a youth diving comedy centered on protagonist Iori Kitahara, who moves to a seaside town after entering university. He begins living at “GRAND BLUE,” a diving shop run by his uncle.

Expecting beautiful beaches, cute childhood friends, and the campus life of his dreams, Iori instead finds himself surrounded by a wild diving club filled almost entirely with rowdy men and endless drinking parties. Alongside his university friend Kohei Imamura, Iori ends up spending his college days in chaotic and often naked adventures.

The original manga, serialized in good! Afternoon published by Kodansha, has surpassed 10 million copies in circulation. The series previously received a TV anime adaptation in 2018, a live action film in 2020, and even a stage adaptation.
