Witch and Hound Anime Announced with Teaser PV, TriF Studio to Produce the Dark Fantasy Series

Witch and Hound (JP: 魔女と猟犬, Majo to Ryoken), the popular light novel series, is officially receiving a television anime adaptation. The newly released teaser PV offers the first look at thrilling action scenes featuring Teresa Lisa, the Mirror Witch who appears on the cover of the first novel volume, and the protagonist Roro. The acrobatic footage, filled with flying sparks, hints at the intensity of the story to come.

Takanori Tsujimoto Directs with Character Designs by Kengo Saito

The staff includes director Takanori Tsujimoto, who has worked at the forefront of multiple genres, including the live action Ultraman series as director and the anime film Hypnosis Mic Division Rap Battle as director. Character designs will be handled by Kengo Saito, who has supported numerous popular works at the animation studio Yostar Pictures, bringing together a strong team of creators.

The original author is also participating in the series composition. While preserving the grand world of the original novel, the anime adds dynamic visual direction unique to the medium.
