Star Detective Precure! Episode 25 Story & Preview Cuts Released: Who Is Cure Eclair? Her True Identity Will Finally Be Revealed!

The story and preview images for Episode 25 of the new anime Star Detective Precure! (JP: 名探偵プリキュア！), the 23rd installment in the long running Precure series, have been revealed. The episode will air on July 19 at 8:30 AM (JST).

Episode 25 Story

July 19, the fateful day, has finally arrived. The perfume Jett-senpai has been creating is finally complete.

As Anna Akechi and Mikuru Kobayashi speculate that the fragrance of lilies may help them find the “great detective” who once belonged to the Curett Detective Agency but lost their memories, a calling card from the Phantom Thieves Guild suddenly flies in.

The message reads, “We shall claim the world at the True (Makoto) Land marked on the map.”

Opening the map they previously discovered on the second floor of the agency, Anna and the others deduce that the “True (Makoto) Land” refers to Land Makoto Tower. They rush to the scene, only to find that Usonoir has already unleashed his power, covering the area in an aura of lies.

Anna and the others transform into Star Detective Precure and confront Usonoir in battle.

Among Kurea Howa, Eliza Kurusu, Rei Kaneda, and Shiruku Ieiri, who is Cure Eclair? The true identity of Cure Eclair will finally be revealed.

Introduction

Star Detective Precure introduces the first detective themed Precure storyline in the franchise and is set primarily in 1999. The protagonist Anna Akechi is a 14 year old second year middle school student living in Makoto Mirai Town. On her birthday, she encounters a fairy named Pochitan and is guided by a mysterious pendant found in her room, triggering a time slip from the year 2027 back to Makoto Mirai City in 1999.

There, Anna meets another 14 year old girl, Mikuru Kobayashi, who dreams of becoming a great detective. When a series of incidents begin to occur, the two girls find themselves unable to ignore people suffering from stolen treasured possessions. Together, they transform into the Star Detective Precure, solving mysteries with the catchphrase “That mystery will be cured” while protecting smiles through sharp deduction and searching for clues that may allow Anna to return to her original time.
