In a notice titled “Notice of Reopening of Pokémon Center MEGA TOKYO and Pikachu Sweets by Pokémon Cafe,” the official website stated that Pokémon Center MEGA TOKYO and Pikachu Sweets by Pokémon Cafe, both of which had been temporarily closed, will resume operations on August 24, 2026.

The notice also explained that part of Pokémon Center MEGA TOKYO is being renovated ahead of the reopening. The store will strengthen measures to ensure staff safety while creating an environment where customers can visit with peace of mind.

Entry restrictions will remain in place for a period following the reopening.
