Witch on the Holy Night: Part 1 took the No. 1 spot in this week’s Oricon light novel ranking with estimated weekly sales of 19,560 copies. Full Metal Panic! Family 4 followed at No. 2 with 4,547 copies, while Magical Girl Witch Trials ranked No. 3 with 3,342 copies. Six titles in this week’s Top 10 were not present in last week’s Top 10, bringing a substantially refreshed lineup.

Witch on the Holy Night Opens a Wide Lead

Witch on the Holy Night: Part 1 leads this week’s ranking with 19,560 estimated copies sold. That represents 46.3% of the combined 42,268 copies sold by the Top 10 and puts the title more than four times ahead of the No. 2 entry.

The book is the first part of a new three-volume novel edition of Kinoko Nasu’s Witch on the Holy Night, with Hirokazu Koyama providing the illustrations.

Full Metal Panic! Family 4 Remains in the Top Two

Full Metal Panic! Family 4 ranks No. 2 with 4,547 estimated weekly sales, following its No. 1 position last week.
Its estimated cumulative sales have reached 15,503 copies. The fourth Family volume is written by Shoji Gatoh with illustrations by Shikidouji.

Magical Girl Witch Trials Joins the Top Three

Magical Girl Witch Trials ranks No. 3 with estimated weekly sales of 3,342 copies and estimated cumulative sales of 22,540 copies.
The novel is based on the mystery adventure game of the same name and is written by Acacia, with illustrations from members of the original creative team.
