Shabake Anime Premieres on October 3 with New Cast Members Announced, Including Daisuke Namikawa

The anime Shabake will officially begin broadcasting on October 3 at 11:30 p.m. on Fuji TV’s Noitamina. Starting the following day, October 4, it will be available exclusively for unlimited streaming on Prime Video every Saturday at midnight. Along with this announcement, the second promotional video and additional cast information for eight characters were revealed.

About Shabake

Based on the hit novel series Shabake by Megumi Hatakenaka, which has sold over 10 million copies, the story follows Ichitaro, the frail young heir of the prestigious Nagasakiya merchant family in Nihonbashi. Unable to venture outside due to his weak health, he relies on the aid of friendly spirits to unravel bizarre murder cases unfolding in Edo.
