The first PV begins with a speech by Anri Teieri directed at the 35 strikers who survived the grueling selection process. In the speech, Anri stirs up the strikers' egos by announcing that Blue Lock will be disbanded if they lose to the Japan U-20 National Team, and by informing them about the tryouts to determine the regulars for the national team.

The PV also features Isagi, who is inspired by Anri’s speech and says, "This match is the one that will completely change my life," showcasing the start of a new, high-stakes battle that they absolutely cannot afford to lose.

Additionally, the PV introduces Oliver Aiku, voiced by Satoshi Hino, and debuts his character voice. As the captain and defensive anchor of the Japan U-20 National Team, Aiku will show what kind of play he can bring against the all-forward Blue Lock Eleven. There is great anticipation for Aiku's performance alongside the Blue Lock Eleven.

"Blue Lock" is based on the manga of the same name serialized in Weekly Shonen Magazine. The story revolves around Japan's nationwide project to develop high school players with "overwhelming egoism," aiming to create a forward who can lead Japan to victory in the World Cup after their previous defeat.

The story follows 300 high school students, all forwards, gathered to create a revolutionary striker for Japanese soccer, at the cost of 299 soccer careers. The manga series has surpassed 40 million copies in circulation.
