On X, they reported, "July 18 marks 14 years since the broadcast of episode 23, 'Cure Sunshine is Born!!' of 'HeartCatch PreCure!' (2010)."

Alongside this, they released a cut of Cure Sunshine's transformation scene. Fans reacted to the anniversary with comments like, "Cure Sunshine is so cool!" "She's my idol and favorite!" and "It's been 14 years since Cure Sunshine first appeared."
