Disney and Pixar's new film 'Inside Out 2' (released in Japan on August 1) has revealed a "seven changes" visual capturing the familiar emotions of the protagonist Riley and a special trailer titled "Riley's Overflowing Emotions."

This film is a sequel to 'Inside Out' (2015), which depicted the world of emotions that exists within everyone. 'Inside Out 2' takes place nine years after the previous film, following the cheerful and kind girl Riley. It continues the story of Joy, Sadness, Disgust, Fear, and Anger, who have been watching over her happiness since childhood. This sequel focuses on the increasing number of emotions as one grows up and Riley's journey through the new challenges of becoming an adult.

The newly released visual links Riley's facial expressions with her emotions. Joy appears when Riley has fun singing with friends, Disgust when she accidentally uses someone else's mouthguard during a hockey game, Fear when she's anxious about an intense hockey training camp in high school, Anger when she wakes up grumpy, Anxiety when she struggles with homework, Envy when she admires an upperclassman and decides to cut her bangs, and Embarrassment when she remembers a hockey game mishap. These visuals capture Riley's adorable and relatable expressions that make everyone smile and think, "I've been there."

The special trailer vividly portrays the world of emotions inside Riley's head. The control center where her emotions operate her feelings is shown. For example, when Anger presses a button, Riley displays an angry face. In the film, Riley, now slightly older, faces the turning point of entering high school and attends a different school from her friends.

Despite her anxiety about the future, she tries to befriend a senior she admires but ends up acting awkwardly and feels embarrassed. Riley experiences a whirlwind of emotions familiar to all of us. Eventually, Joy and Sadness are expelled from the control center, causing Riley to lose her sense of self...
