[Voice Actor] Kenichi Suzumura Resumes Work Gradually Considering His Health Condition
Voice actor Kenichi Suzumura, who had been on hiatus due to health issues since May, has resumed work, according to an announcement from his agency.

The official website of the agency reported, "We sincerely thank everyone for their warm support for Kenichi Suzumura. Due to health issues, he had taken a break, but he will now gradually resume work while considering his health condition."
"We deeply apologize for the great inconvenience and concern caused to all his supporters and related parties. We humbly ask for your continued support in the future," the statement continued. Regarding Suzumura's health condition, the agency had previously announced on May 16, "Our company's Kenichi Suzumura will be taking a rest to focus on recovery due to ongoing health issues. Based on the medical diagnosis, it was determined that he needs a break. We will prioritize his recovery and will inform you about the resumption of his activities later."
Kenichi Suzumura is a popular voice actor known for roles such as Shinn Asuka in 'Mobile Suit Gundam SEED DESTINY,' Sougo Okita in 'Gintama,' Obanai Iguro in 'Demon Slayer,' Atsushi Murasakibara in 'Kuroko's Basketball,' Daisuke Shima in 'Space Battleship Yamato 2199,' and Yang Wen-li in 'Legend of the Galactic Heroes: Die Neue These.' He is also active as an artist and hosts numerous radio programs.
Additionally, Suzumura serves as the representative of the voice acting agency "INTENTION," which is home to popular voice actors like Yuuichi Nakamura, Nao Touyama, and Yuuma Uchida.
