[Precure] Futari wa Pretty Cure Transformation Items & Chocolate Set Released
On the 7th, Bandai announced the release of a new product set inspired by the popular 2004 anime Futari wa Pretty Cure (aired on ABC/TV Asahi). The set, named "Futari wa Pretty Cure PRECURE CHOCO & CASE Card Commune," includes a case modeled after the iconic "Card Commune" transformation item and chocolates wrapped in designs reminiscent of Pretty Cure cards. Pre-orders began the same day at 1 PM on Bandai Namco Group's official online store, "Premium Bandai," with shipments scheduled to start in January 2025. The set is priced at 3,993 yen (tax included), with shipping and handling fees extra.
The "Card Commune" case, a beloved transformation item used by the characters Nagisa Misumi and Honoka Yukishiro in the series, has been luxuriously redesigned with pearl paint and metallic accents, making it a functional and stylish accessory. The chocolate set includes eight pieces wrapped in cute, Pretty Cure card-themed designs, housed in packaging featuring original illustrations.
Futari wa Pretty Cure aired for a year starting in 2004, following the story of two second-year students at Verone Academy, Nagisa Misumi and Honoka Yukishiro, who meet the creatures Mepple and Mipple. The two girls gain the ability to transform and must face off against evil enemies sent from the Dusk Zone. The Pretty Cure anime series, which began with this show, celebrates its 20th anniversary this year.
