Live-Action "Oshi no Ko" Cast Announcement: Young Aqua, Ruby, Kana, and First-Generation "B Komachi" Members Revealed
Amazon and Toei's live-action adaptation project of "Oshi no Ko" has unveiled ten new cast members, including those portraying the first-generation members of "B Komachi," as well as young Aqua, Ruby, and Kana.
Aside from Ai (Asuka Saito), the first-generation "B Komachi" members will be portrayed by Yuina Sakai (green costume), Momoka Kanekiyo (blue costume), Mahiru Saito (orange costume), and Aimi Nakano (yellow costume).
The profiles of these four cast members are as follows.
● Yuina Sakai
Entered the "2020 Miss Teen Japan" competition, winning the Grand Prix out of 4,102 applicants. She made her acting debut in 2020 in the stage play "Swimming in a Pool of Lemon Jelly." In the following year, she appeared in the drama "Short Short Theater 'Kokoro no Fufufu'" (WOWOW) and starred in the 2023 film "She says dolphins can dance the hula."
● Momoka Kanekiyo
Gained attention after appearing in "Who is a Wolf" (AbemaTV) in 2021 and has since appeared in various commercials and music videos. She also appeared in "Billion x School" (Fuji TV). As a serious dancer who started dancing at the age of five, she has won numerous contests and battles nationwide.
● Mahiru Saito
Appeared as a "TV Warrior" on NHK's "Let's Genius TV-kun" from 2014 to 2016 and as a "Suiensa Girls" member on NHK's "Suiensa" from 2016 to 2018. Recently, she has also been active in stage performances.
● Aimi Nakano
Selected as the Grand Prix winner at the "18th Nicola Model Audition" in 2014, she began her career as an exclusive model in the October issue of the same year. From 2015, she appeared on "Oha Suta" (TV Tokyo) and won the Grand Prix at the 3rd Uniform Award hosted by CONOMi in 2016.
Kazuto Mokudai, who debuted as an actor in 2018 and is also a member of the dance vocal group "Genin ha Jibun ni Aru," will play Ryosuke, a devoted fan of Ai.
Young Aqua will be portrayed by Haru Iwakawa, who has been active as a child actor since 2019. Young Ruby will be played by Yuna Saito, who appeared in NHK's "Go! Go! Cook R'n."
Young Kana will be played by Yuzuna Nagase, who made her debut in the 2019 drama "Kansatsui Asagao" (Fuji TV), with her performance gaining much attention.
Sarina Tendoji, the hospitalized patient who becomes the catalyst for Goro Amamiya (Ryo Narita) becoming a devoted fan of Ai, will be portrayed by Kurumi Inagaki, who has been a child actor since the age of four.
Mari Hamada will play Eriko Kawamura, an obstetric nurse working alongside Goro Amamiya.
The live-action "Oshi no Ko" drama series will be exclusively streamed worldwide on Amazon Prime Video for Prime members starting at 9:00 PM on November 28, followed by a nationwide theatrical release of the sequel film by Toei on December 20.

Kotaro Yoshida as Ichigo Saito
The first president of the entertainment agency "Strawberry Production."
Kana Kurashina as Miyako Saito
Ichigo Saito's wife and the current president of "Strawberry Production," who takes care of Aqua and Ruby.
Nobuaki Kaneko as Taishi Gotanda
A film director who discovers young Aqua's acting talent and scouts him into the entertainment industry.
