[New PV] Fureru: New Trailer Released for Heartwarming Film Starring Ren Nagase, Ryota Bando, and Kentaro Maeda
With only a month left until the October 4th release of Fureru, a new trailer has been unveiled. This original animated feature, directed by Tatsuyuki Nagai, scripted by Mari Okada, and featuring character design by Masayoshi Tanaka, is the latest work from the team behind Anohana (2013), The Anthem of the Heart (2015), and Her Blue Sky (2019).
The trailer opens with the main characters, Aki (Ren Nagase), Ryo (Ryota Bando), and Yuta (Kentaro Maeda), who touch each other and listen to the voices in their hearts. Alongside a mysterious creature named Fureru, the three move to Tokyo from their island home. Aki works part-time at a bar, Ryo at a real estate company, and Yuta is a fashion school student. They live together, sharing a secret: Fureru has the ability to connect people's hearts. As they meet new friends Juri (Haruka Shiraishi) and Nanami (Manaka Iwami), the dynamic of their shared life begins to shift.
The first half of the trailer is accompanied by YOASOBI's new theme song, "Monotone," a captivating and unforgettable track written specifically for the film. The second half reveals Fureru's hidden powers, causing tension in the trio's relationship. As Aki reflects on their bond, he questions if they can stay connected without Fureru.
The trailer teases the fantastical journey ahead, including mysterious scenes like a large shadow cast by Fureru, three friends flying through the sky, and strings connecting their fingers. What is the true power of Fureru? How will the bond between Aki, Ryo, Yuta, and Fureru evolve? This heartwarming story of love, friendship, and miracles begins now.
