"Detective Conan" Special PV Released for 'Momiji Ooka's Sweet Trap (Part 1 & Part 2)' Set in Kyoto (broadcast in Japan)
The Yomiuri TV and Nippon TV anime Detective Conan (airing every Saturday at 6:00 PM) will feature a two-part special titled Momiji Ooka's Sweet Trap (Part 1 & Part 2), set in Kyoto. It will air on the 21st and 28th of this month, and a special promotional video (PV) was released today, the 14th, in anticipation of the episodes.
In Momiji Ooka's Sweet Trap (Part 1 & Part 2), a play modeled after Kogoro and Heiji is being planned, and Conan and his friends visit Kyoto for a meeting related to the production. However, a murder occurs during the meeting, and the investigation begins.
Heiji grows suspicious when he learns that the detective modeled after him in the play has a fiancée. Then, Momiji Ooka, who claims to be Heiji’s actual fiancée, appears.
Meanwhile, Ran and Kazuha, who were enjoying a sweets tour around Kyoto thanks to a sponsor's generosity, realize that they have fallen into a trap.
The special PV will also be showcased at the ytv animation booth during the Kyoto International Manga and Anime Fair 2024, held on the 21st and 22nd. Additionally, a collaborative visual featuring the ongoing Ao no Miburo manga from Weekly Shonen Magazine will be displayed.
