On Instagram, she wrote, "Thank you for the two days of the Pokémon Card Game Champions League 2025 Tokyo. I was grateful to participate as an invited player and to have connected with so many people through this experience."

She continued, "I’m currently in the middle of filming for a drama, so I practiced little by little during my work travels and after work, but it still felt like I didn’t have enough time or practice. That’s why I was really happy to win three matches!" She revealed her record of 3 wins and 3 losses.

Kageyama also expressed her gratitude to fans: "To everyone who gave me ideas and advice, and practiced with a Pokémon Card beginner like me, and to those who cheered for me and enjoyed the game with me during the tournament—thank you all so much once again!"

She explained her deck, saying, "I was able to fully enjoy the charm of the Lugia VSTAR deck I used, including strategies like ‘Assemble Star’ in the second turn and ‘Gottsan Purify.’ I even had the dream opportunity of sitting in the commentary booth, where the commentators kindly supported me as I cheered and enjoyed the matches from the bottom of my heart!"

She added, "I also got to see a variety of decks and playing styles that truly embody the phrase 'fierce competition,' including several Lugia VSTAR decks, both in the finals and the live-streamed matches. I learned so much—it was amazing!"

Lastly, she shared her ambitions: "I want to study more about the world of Pokémon Cards and become able to enjoy it with all of you even more. Above all, I’ve grown to love Pokémon and Pokémon Cards even more. I’ll keep working hard so I can meet everyone again soon. Please rest well!"
