Voice actress Haruna Ikezawa updated her X account to announce that she recently held her wedding ceremony and shared updates on her current situation.

Ikezawa, who married a non-celebrity man in July 2020, posted, "Today was my wedding day. Under a miracle of perfect weather, at a wonderful location with delicious food and drinks, surrounded by people I love, it was the most fun, joyous, and happiest day of my life." She also shared photos of herself in her wedding dress.

Regarding the timing of the ceremony, she explained, "We couldn't hold the ceremony during the COVID-19 pandemic, and after many discussions, we decided on this timing. But everyone said, 'Having a wedding five years after getting married gives a sense of stability, and it feels reassuring,' so maybe it was for the best?"

She also revealed, "The reason we decided to hold the wedding at this time was that we wanted my husband's grandmother to see it. Unfortunately, she couldn't attend in person, but we were able to show her pictures. Shortly after, I received news that she had passed away. I wonder if she was waiting for this moment."

Haruna Ikezawa is known for her roles as Haruna Hiroko/Lauren in Hamtaro, Go Seiba in Let's & Go!!, Momoka Nishizawa in Sgt. Frog, and Yumi Shimazu in Maria Watches Over Us, among others.
