Fall 2024 Anime List

■Synopsis

A year has passed since the liberation of the "Sanctuary," where Subaru Natsuki fulfilled his contract with Beatrice and fended off the ferocious attacks of Elsa and the battle against the Great Rabbit. The Emilia faction, preparing for the royal selection, has grown stronger and more united, and Subaru was enjoying peaceful days. However, this peace is abruptly shattered by a letter delivered by a messenger. The letter was an invitation from Anastasia, one of the royal candidates, to Emilia, inviting her to the watergate city of Priestella, one of the five great cities of Lugnica.

Upon accepting the invitation, Subaru and his companions head to Priestella, where they encounter various reunions. One reunion is unexpected, another unintentional, and one inevitable. Beneath the surface, sinister forces stir, and an unprecedented crisis looms. Once again, the boy faces a cruel destiny.

Subaru Natsuki
Voice - Yusuke Kobayashi
The protagonist, lacking all four key traits: ignorant, incompetent, powerless, and reckless. Suddenly summoned to another world, he is thrown into a bewildering situation. With an unflinching personality and natural audacity, he faces his harsh fate while occasionally lamenting his misfortune in the face of adversity.

Emilia
Voice - Rie Takahashi
A beautiful half-elf girl with silver hair and deep violet eyes, the same traits as the "Witch of Envy," who once nearly destroyed the world. She has a kind heart and a caring nature, though she somehow refuses to acknowledge it herself. She is always accompanied by Puck, a spirit in the form of a small cat. She is one of the candidates in the royal selection to determine the next ruler of the Kingdom of Lugnica.

Beatrice
Voice - Satomi Arai
A spirit in the form of a young girl, serving as the librarian of the Forbidden Library in Roswaal’s mansion. With her adorable appearance and luxurious dress, she gives off a fairy-like impression to those who see her. Despite her bossy demeanor, she is a lonely soul who struggles to be honest about her feelings. She affectionately calls Puck "Nii-cha" (big brother).

Garfiel Tinsel
Voice - Nobuhiko Okamoto
A young man with a fierce glare and sharp fangs, whose short-tempered and wild personality matches his rough appearance. His unique way of speaking and use of mysterious idioms often bewilder Subaru. As the guardian of the "Sanctuary," he once opposed Subaru, but after reconciling, he began to admire him as a big brother figure and joined Emilia’s faction as a military officer. He possesses the "Earth Spirit's Blessing," which allows him to draw power from the land, and he can also transform into a giant tiger.
