The anime Dandadan will begin airing on Thursday, October 3, 2024, at 12:26 AM on the MBS/TBS network’s "Super Animeism TURBO" block.

■Synopsis
Momo Ayase, a high school girl born into a family of spiritual mediums, and her classmate Okarun, an occult fanatic, start talking after Momo helps him out from being bullied. However, they soon argue because Momo believes in ghosts but denies the existence of aliens, while Okarun believes in aliens but denies the existence of ghosts. To prove each other wrong, Momo goes to an abandoned hospital rumored to be a UFO hotspot, and Okarun visits a haunted tunnel. There, both encounter overwhelming supernatural entities beyond their understanding. In the midst of danger, Momo awakens her hidden powers, and Okarun gains the power of a curse, as they face the looming terrors together! Will a destined love also begin to bloom? The occult battle and youthful romance story begins!

A high school girl from a family of spiritual mediums. She prefers serious men. While she doesn't believe in aliens, she does believe in ghosts. After being abducted by Serpo Aliens, she awakens her hidden psychic abilities.
