About Blue Lock

"Blue Lock" is based on the manga series of the same name, currently serialized in Weekly Shonen Magazine. The story revolves around Japan's effort to create the ultimate forward (FW) with overwhelming egoism, which the national soccer team lacked after their loss in the World Cup. The country launches a large-scale project to train high school soccer players. The manga has surpassed 40 million copies sold, and the first season of the anime aired from October 2022 to March 2023. In April 2024, the movie Blue Lock: Episode Nagi was released in theaters.
