Kisuke Foods Co., Ltd., which specializes in the processing and sale of gyutan (beef tongue), launched a collaboration product (set meals, bento boxes, etc.) featuring Kisuke Urahara, a character from the manga BLEACH, starting on the 5th. In response, Shinichiro Miki, the voice actor for Kisuke Urahara, updated his X (formerly Twitter) account to share that he enjoyed the meal.

Aji no Gyutan Kisuke, a long-established restaurant, is approaching its 50th anniversary. It was the first to promote the Sendai-originated "Gyutan-yaki" as a "Sendai Specialty" and spread it nationwide. In 2004, when Kisuke opened a branch in Tokyo’s Yaesu, BLEACH had just started airing, and since the character Kisuke Urahara became popular, some BLEACH fans have quietly referred to the restaurant as a "pilgrimage site."

As the anime BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War began airing in 2022, the demand from fans grew louder. With the support of Tite Kubo’s official fan club, "Klub Outside," and a newly drawn illustration of Kisuke Urahara by Kubo, the collaboration became a reality. Miki posted on X, "I enjoyed the delicious gyutan from Aji no Gyutan Kisuke!" along with a photo of his meal.
