'WIND BREAKER' Season 2 to Air in April Next Year, Ryota Osaka Cast as Tasuku Tsubakino
The TV anime "WIND BREAKER" Season 2 is set to air in April 2025 in the "Super Animeism TURBO Slot" on TBS. A teaser visual and PV were also released alongside the announcement.
Additionally, new cast members have been revealed. Ryota Osaka will voice Tasuku Tsubakino.
Tasuku Tsubakino is a third-year student in Class 2 at Furin High School. He is one of the Four Heavenly Kings of "Bofurin" and is the leader of the Jikoku-Shu. He always wears a choker, loves cute and sparkly things, and has a sense of style. He likes to be called "Tsubaki-chan" and affectionately refers to Umemiya as "Ume." He is known for his warm personality, always being cheerful, and is also skilled at dancing.
About WIND BREAKER
"WIND BREAKER" is based on the popular delinquent manga serialized on Kodansha's "Magazine Pocket" app. It is set at Furin High School, known for having the lowest academic standards but the strongest fighters. The story follows Haruka Sakura, who comes to town aiming for the top, and ends up fighting alongside "Bofurin," a group dedicated to protecting the town with his friends. The first season of the anime aired from April to June 2024, and the second season is set to air in 2025.
