Nintendo announced on November 6 that Donkey Kong Country, the much-anticipated expansion of Universal Studios Japan’s Super Nintendo World, will officially open by the end of 2024, clarifying its projected timeline.

Donkey Kong Country – A New Adventure Awaits

This expansion will add 70% more space to the Super Nintendo World area, immersing visitors in the lush jungle of Donkey Kong’s world. Guests can look forward to the Donkey Kong’s Crazy Cart ride, a thrilling mine-cart experience through the jungle with jumps and obstacles for an exciting journey.

Global Super Nintendo World Expansions

Nintendo also announced that Super Nintendo World will open in Orlando, Florida, on May 22, 2025, with a Singapore location to follow, continuing the global rollout of the Nintendo-themed attractions.
