The highly acclaimed anime My Happy Marriage (Watashi no Shiawase na Kekkon) has unveiled a new visual to celebrate its latest OVA release. Titled "Moon Viewing", this special illustration marks "Good Couple's Day" in Japan and depicts Miyo and Kiyoka gazing at a full moon from their veranda.

Accompanying the visual is a short story written by the series' original author, Akumi Agitogi, brought to life with a stunning visual imagery video featuring newly recorded voice lines by Reina Ueda (Miyo) and Kaito Ishikawa (Kiyoka). A heartwarming excerpt from the story reads:

Worldwide OVA Release

As of midnight today, the new OVA episode, Episode 13: "The Shape of My Happiness", is now streaming globally on Netflix and other platforms. This original story serves as a sequel to the TV series, exploring the couple's life after the events of the first season.

Shrine Collaboration and Exclusive Merchandise

In celebration of the release, My Happy Marriage has collaborated with three notable shrines: Shimochiai Hikawa Shrine, Nanasha Shrine, and Ono Shrine. Fans can collect newly designed goshuin (shrine stamps) and purchase a special edition goshuin book that was a hit last year.

Based on Akumi Agitogi’s novel series published under Fujimi L Bunko, My Happy Marriage has achieved massive popularity with over 8 million copies sold. The story inspired a manga adaptation by Rito Kohsaka, which won first place in the "2021 Nationwide Bookstore Staff Recommended Comics" ranking and several other accolades.

In 2023, the series was adapted into a live-action film starring Ren Meguro (Snow Man) and Mio Imada, followed by a stage play in August and the TV anime in July.
