Episode 32 “The Blue Genes” Story

Nagi's spectacular super shot finds the net, bringing the match to a 1-1 tie. With 15 minutes left in the first half, the highly anticipated face-off between Rin and Sae finally takes place.

In an intense clash of brothers, Sae comes out on top and drives straight through the field’s center. Together with Sae, the U-20 Japan team's offensive line surges toward Blue Lock’s defensive wall, launching a relentless attack.

Amidst the chaos, center-back Ikki Niko remains composed, recalling Ego’s words before the match: “Track every player connected to Itoshi Sae.” Analyzing the situation with a cool head, he prepares to counter the onslaught.

■Ikki Niko

While the showdown between Sae Itoshi and Rin Itoshi is a key highlight, Ikki Niko also plays a crucial role in the latter part of the first half. Niko, with his impressive spatial awareness and deep reading of the game—skills that even Ego holds in high regard—emerges as a key defensive figure in this match. Sae Itoshi, with his overwhelming physicality and technique, dazzles everyone on the field, drawing all attention to his movements. However, Niko remains calm, surveying the entire field and creating opportunities for a counterattack.
