The popular anime ONE PIECE is teaming up with JR West's Sanyo Shinkansen to create the ONE PIECE Shinkansen, scheduled to begin operations in spring 2025. The announcement was made on the official website, sparking excitement among fans.

A Grand Journey on the "Grand Rail"

The collaboration project will kick off in spring 2025 under the concept "To the Grand Rail!". Three train designs will be introduced as part of this collaboration, alongside station-themed content and exclusive merchandise.

The first train, called the Setouchi Blue, will feature an ocean-inspired blue exterior with a design celebrating ONE PIECE characters. The theme centers on a "journey to Setouchi," bringing the world of ONE PIECE to life for passengers.

Designs for the second and third trains are yet to be revealed, with more details to follow in future updates.

Route and Stations

The ONE PIECE Shinkansen will operate on JR West's Sanyo Shinkansen Kodama line, running between Shin-Osaka and Hakata. It will stop at 19 stations, including:
