The synopsis and preview images for Episode 48 of Wonderful Precure!, the 21st series in the Precure franchise, have been released.

Episode 48

From the dark clouds looming over Animal Town emerge Gaou and the wolf-like Gaogaons. The Precure transform and confront the Gaogaons head-on. Meanwhile, amidst the chaos in the town, Nico tries to convince Gaou to stop after witnessing people protecting and evacuating the animals. However, Gaou refuses to listen.

As the Precure work to protect the townspeople and animals while trying to halt the Gaogaons’ movements, Nico desperately tries to hold Gaou back. But in a brief moment when Nico attempts to save Neko and Meemee, Gaou seizes the chance to steal the power of Nico Diamond.

With the Precure overwhelmed by the Gaogaons' relentless attacks, Nico gathers her remaining strength and casts a beam of light on Gaou, causing his mask to crack.
