Starting April 15, McDonald’s Japan will air new commercials for its annual Chicken Tatsuta campaign in collaboration with the beloved anime series Detective Conan. This marks the second year of the popular partnership, following its well-received debut last year.

New Commercials Featuring Conan, Kogoro, and Amuro

The 2025 campaign introduces two original anime commercials:

"Detective Conan: The Golden Feast"
In this CM, members of the mysterious M group return once again. They reveal the legendary treasure hidden within McDonald’s — the classic Chicken Tatsuta — alongside a new menu item for 2025, the Tartar Nanban Chicken Tatsuta. Fans will also spot the Nagano Prefectural Police Team in action.

"Detective Conan: The Sunset Feast"
This CM showcases Conan Edogawa, Kogoro Mouri, and Toru Amuro storming into McDonald’s precisely at 5:00 PM — the hour struck by the clocktower — to enjoy the rice-based Gohan Chicken Tatsuta together in harmony.

Both commercials are original animations created in the iconic style of the Detective Conan anime, adding excitement and immersion for fans.

Original Package Designs Featuring Beloved Characters

As part of the collaboration, all four product variations — two Chicken Tatsuta and two Gohan Chicken Tatsuta burgers — will be sold in exclusive, limited-edition packaging. Each package design features unique artwork showcasing various expressions of the Detective Conan characters, making them highly collectible.
