The acclaimed novel Agents of the Four Seasons: Dance of Spring will be adapted into a TV anime, as officially announced. The story is penned by Kana Akatsuki, author of Violet Evergarden, and the animation will be produced by WIT STUDIO, known for Attack on Titan and SPY×FAMILY.

A Journey of Loss and Renewal in a World Without Spring

The fantasy story follows divine avatars of the four seasons and their guardians, who use powers bestowed by the gods to circulate the seasons throughout the land. But for the past ten years, spring has vanished, ever since the Agent of Spring, Hinagiku Kayou, mysteriously disappeared.

Her loyal guardian, Sakura Himedaka, has spent a decade searching for her—until one day, Hinagiku suddenly returns. Thus begins a heartfelt journey as the two reunite and set out to restore spring to the world.

New Visual and PV Unveiled

To commemorate the anime announcement, a teaser PV and “Spring Visual” have been released. The key visual features Hinagiku and Sakura standing in a snow-covered landscape as they prepare to bring back spring—highlighting the contrast between loss and hope.
