The upcoming Jujutsu Kaisen: Hidden Inventory / Premature Death Recap Film, set to hit theaters on May 30, will include an all-new mini-anime titled Jujutsu Kaisen the Movie Recap: Juju Sanpo. This fresh addition to the film was officially announced ahead of its release.

The mini-anime Juju Sanpo is an original project by Gege Akutami and animation studio MAPPA. It features Gojo Satoru, Geto Suguru, and Shoko Ieiri in a light-hearted setting that contrasts with the main storyline, offering fans a more relaxed and humorous take on the characters’ daily lives.

Cast Appearance Confirmed for Premiere Day

A special stage greeting event has been scheduled for the film’s premiere on May 30, with the main cast making an appearance. Voice actors Yuichi Nakamura (Gojo Satoru), Takahiro Sakurai (Geto Suguru), Aya Endo (Shoko Ieiri), and Anna Nagase (Riko Amanai) are all set to take the stage. The event will also be streamed live to theaters across Japan via live viewing.

About Jujutsu Kaisen

Jujutsu Kaisen is a dark fantasy series that follows high school student Yuji Itadori, who becomes involved in a deadly conflict over cursed objects after the seal on a powerful cursed artifact is broken. Originally serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from March 2018 to September 2024, the manga has surpassed 100 million copies in circulation.

The anime adaptation began airing in October 2020 and concluded its first season in March 2021. A theatrical anime film followed in December 2021, and the second season aired from July to December 2023. A sequel anime, Jujutsu Kaisen: Culling Game, is also currently in production.

The Jujutsu Kaisen: Hidden Inventory / Premature Death Recap Film is a special compilation of the five-episode arc from the anime’s second season, focusing on the past of Gojo Satoru and Geto Suguru during their time at Jujutsu High.
